In today’s tech savvy world, the smartphone app and connected features of an electric scooter can make a world of difference in the ownership experience. The Bajaj Chetak 2903 gets its own dedicated app which will offer a range of features, including real time vehicle tracking, battery status monitoring and ride statistics. However, users have been debating the implementation and reliability of these connected features. There are some people who praise their app for their intuitive design and useful features and other people who report having issues with connectivity or delayed updates or missing functionalities. And there's also the data privacy and security question, since the app collects and transmits vehicle and user data. Some users have also been concerned about how reliant the app is to perform some of its functions, and what would happen if the app is unavailable, or otherwise not available on the user’s phone. In doing so, these discussions explore some interesting questions about how technology plays a role in electric vehicles, as well as how technology affects the complete user experience.

I wish this app had more features, but it’s okay. It feels a bit basic compared to some other EV apps I’ve seen. Future updates could definitely improve Bajaj.

I’m not too tech savvy so I was nervous about the app. In actuality, it’s pretty user friendly. I had to get used to it a bit, but I use it all the time now.

It's a mixed bag. It's cool to know the ride statistics, and I like being able to find my scooter. The app is a bit glitchy though, but it drains my phone battery like crazy.

I honestly find the app more trouble than it's worth. The updates are delayed and it keeps losing connection to my Chetak. Now I just use the physical key.

When it works, the app is pretty slick. It’s great to be able to see my battery status and plan my rides with that in mind. It’s got a nice security touch with the geofencing feature.
