The current generation of Toyota Fortuner comes with a 4-cylinder in-line, 16-Valve, DOHC engine with Intercooler Turbocharger. The engine comes in two different displacements, 2982 cc and 2494 cc. The bigger unit is good for 171 PS and 360 NM of torque whereas the 2.5 L produces 144 PS and 343 NM of torque. The Fortuner is good for both 2WD and all time 4WD.
