How good would the KTM Duke 490 be as an up spec from the 390 for A2 license holders?

In Europe, the A2 license restriction only allows you to ride motorcycles with a maximum of 35 kW (about 47 hp) for the first few years of riding. Already at the upper limit of what's allowed for A2, the KTM Duke 390 is a popular choice. But after a year or two with the 390, some riders want more. That’s where the potential Duke 490 could step in. It would be manageable for relatively new riders and could provide a bit more power (with a restrictor for A2 compliance) and a more sophisticated twin-cylinder engine. The question is, would this be a worthwhile upgrade for A2 riders, or would they be better off waiting to upgrade to a bigger bike once they have their full license?

For A2 riders, it’d be perfect! Less power with the restrictor, but more power when derestricted, but still manageable with the restrictor.
