How good is the after sales service of Bajaj BYK 100 when compared to the established players?

In the Indian motorcycle market, after sales service is a big factor, particularly so in the case of commuter bikes which are often a family's primary mode of transport. As a new entrant, the Bajaj BYK 100 has to contend with the fact that it is competing with well known brands like Hero and Honda that have a large service network across the country. Bajaj has experience with their Pulsar and Discover lines, but the BYK 100 aims at a different customer base that may have higher expectations for swift, inexpensive, and dependable service. Potential buyers are concerned about the availability of spare parts, about the quality of service in Bajaj dealerships and the overall cost of maintenance in comparison to more established models. The question also remains how fast Bajaj can expand its service network to match that of its competitors, especially in rural areas where commuter bikes are popular. After sales support by the company could be a make or break thing for the success of the BYK 100 in this fiercely competitive segment.

No way. Hero and Honda have been around for quite some time now. They have unbeatable service networks. There is a long way for Bajaj to reach that level of support.
