How durable is the Bada Dost i4 CBC’s body and paint?

by Sukhmandeep Kaurover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
Commercial vehicle body and paint durability is essential, since it has an impact on both aesthetics and resale value. The Bada Dost i4 CBC has been a point of discussion among the owners, given that it is exposed to different weather conditions and is used roughly. There are those that have praised its resilience but others have had rust or paint chipping issues. There are many things that can affect the vehicle’s exterior, such as frequent washing, exposure to harsh sunlight, or operation in areas near the coast where there is high salt content in the air. To understand how well the Bada Dost i4 CBC’s body and paint stands the test of time under various operating conditions, we shall examine the views of long term owners and fleet operators.

The paint has chipped easily around the cargo area, but the body is tough. I expected better resistance of a commercial vehicle, probably from loading and unloading.

The durability is pretty good. The trick is to regularly maintain it – mine is washed and waxed every 2 weeks and after a year of heavy use, has almost no wear.

I am a fleet operator and found the Bada Dost i4 CBC’s durability to be hit or miss. However, some vehicles stand their ground, others seem to be magnets for dents and scratches. It might depend on individual drivers.

After 18 months, I have noticed the paint is fading a bit on the roof. Probably due to constant sun exposure. If you live in a sunny area, it might be worth to invest in a good wax or ceramic coating.

To me the body seems pretty sturdy. Occasional collisions are part of the occupational hazard in Mumbai traffic, and the Bada Dost i4 CBC came out with only a few scuffs. Easy to buff out.

Meh, I'm not too impressed. With just a year, I am seeing some rust spots forming around the wheel wells. Disappointing might be because I operate near the coast.

After two years of having my Bada Dost i4 CBC the paint job is surprisingly holding up. With daily use in a busy urban environment, there are no major chips or scratches.
