In modern cars, infotainment system is a very important feature, sometimes even when making buying decision. Toyota Glanza also offers a touchscreen infotainment system that enhances connectivity via your smartphone, voice command and also aids your navigation. But this system has received a mixed reception from users. Some sing its praises for being easy to use and responsive and others criticize it for not having some of features included in competitor models. Much focus is placed on the system’s user interface, what the display looks like, how quickly it responds, and how well it integrates with your smartphone. Systems from other cars in the segment are compared, as well as aftermarket options. The article also discusses why infotainment features are such a big deal in a car intended for urban commuting with the occasional long trip.

The infotainment on the Glanza is pretty solid too. It's responsive, easy to use, and gets all the basics out of the way. It's not cutting edge by any stretch of the imagination, but it works without any fuss.

Honestly, I'm not impressed. Some competitors offer larger screens and also a more up to date look. Toyota should have done better.

It's a mixed bag. The built in navigation is a joke, but it works great with smartphones. Instead I just use Google Maps on my phone.

It's actually pretty good for the price point. It's never going to blow your mind, but it'll work and work well. In a daily driver, what more do you need?

I believe people are too hard on it. It’s not the fanciest thing out there, but it’s simple and doesn’t take your focus off the road. That's a plus in my book.

The real letdown is the sound quality from the speakers. The audio is fine, if you care about audio you'll want to upgrade the speakers, the infotainment itself is fine.

So it’s better than the Baleno’s system, at least. Toyota must have done something with it. It’s nice that the voice commands actually work most of the time.
