How does the NS160 hold up for taller riders?

by Ashutoshover 1 year ago0 views7 comments
Motorcycle ergonomics can vary greatly, and finding the right fit is crucial for rider comfort and control. The Bajaj Pulsar NS160, with its sporty stance, has sparked discussions about its suitability for riders of different heights. Taller riders often face challenges with smaller bikes, experiencing issues like cramped leg room, hunched posture, or knees hitting the fuel tank. There's debate about whether the NS160's dimensions and seating position accommodate taller riders comfortably, especially for long rides. Some argue that its slightly higher seat height compared to other 160cc bikes makes it more suitable for taller riders, while others claim it still feels too compact. The handlebar position and foot peg placement are also points of discussion in relation to rider height and comfort.

Taller riders can manage, but you might want to invest in some aftermarket parts like raised handlebars for better comfort.

As a 5'9" rider, it feels just right. I think Bajaj designed it with the average Indian height in mind.

It's not bad, but not great either for tall riders. I'm 6'1" and had to modify the handlebar position to feel comfortable.

Tall riders might want to look elsewhere. My 6'3" friend tried it and looked like a giant on a kid's bike.

I'm 5'11" and it fits me perfectly. I think it's ideal for average to slightly above average height riders.

It's okay for short rides, but on longer trips, I (6'0") start feeling cramped after an hour or so. Wish the footpegs were a bit more rear-set.

As a 6'2" rider, I find the NS160 surprisingly comfortable. The slightly higher seat height really helps.
