How does the Kia Ceed’s infotainment system compare?

In a world where tech is king, the infotainment system in a car can be a big selling point or a deal breaker. Like many modern cars the Kia Ceed comes with a touchscreen system that has a number of features. But how does it compare to the rest? Some users say it is easy to use and simple, while others say it doesn't have the sophistication of some of its rival systems. And there's the smartphone integration question: How does it work with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto? They also offer things such as high quality graphics, responsive touch screen, and intuitive user interface. How does the system age, and how well? After a couple of years, has its legs fallen off, losing its smooth, responsive feel?

The infotainment is pretty good on the Ceed. It's nothing fancy, but it’s easy to use and it doesn’t lag.

In comparison to my friends VW I find it a bit basic. And it does the job, but it’s not exciting.

In my Ceed, the Apple CarPlay integration works perfectly. That's all I really need.

The screen could be bigger it’s decent. Other rivals have much bigger screens.

In fact, I find Kia's system more preferable than some of the more expensive brands. It’s intuitive and doesn’t try to be overly clever.

Graphics are a little dated now compared to a newer model from other brands.

It’s reliable, and it has regular updates. That’s more than I can say for some other brands I’ve owned.
