How does the Interceptor 350 fair against the Meteor 350 for daily commuting?

Royal Enfield Interceptor 350 and Meteor 350 are both popular urban riders but they are different in daily commuting experience. Rider debate the merits of the more standard riding position of the Interceptor vs. the cruiser style ergonomics of the Meteor. People are talking about which bike handles city traffic better, more comfortable for stop and go riding, and better fuel economy for daily use. The Interceptor is sportier for some, the Meteor more laid back for others. When deciding between these two as a daily commuter, factors like seat height, maneuverability in tight spaces, overall weight play in to this.

And don't forget that the Meteor gets better fuel efficiency. When you’re commuting daily though, those MPG gains add up.

It’s really about your commute. If you have a lot of highway miles, the Meteor might be your best bet. The Interceptor's agility is the key for purely urban riding.

I have ridden both and the Interceptor is my choice for commuting. It just makes the ride more alive and engaging, which is more helpful in waking me up on those early morning rides to work!

The Meteor wins for me. There's more comfortable seat for longer rides and the engine is a bit smoother in stop and go traffic. It’s nice to have the extra wind protection of the small visor too.

Both of them are good options, but I like the Interceptor better. It’s great, nice and sporty and feels more responsive in city traffic so you can make a quick move when needed.

For every day use I'd pick the Meteor. It helps keep your back and wrists more relaxed because it's easier to ride in a relaxed position when you wait at those long traffic lights. Plus it has a lower seat height, which is good for those that are shorter.

The Interceptor is, hands-down, better for commuting. It is more nimble in traffic and you have better visibility with that upright position. It’s also just more fun to ride!
