The longer warranty is a plus. This gives me peace of mind and may save me on repair costs in the future.

Heavy traffic fuel consumption is a bit disappointing. Considering the hype, I had expected better.

If it did not have all those comfort features I would not buy it. Fewer driver fatigue mean more productive hours.

It has a perfect payload capacity for me. With that, I can load up and do fewer trips thus saving time and fuel.

It depends on your business. The extra power and payload are game changers when it comes to my construction supply runs.

I'm on the fence. The improvements are nice, but for my small operation I don't think the price bump is worth it.

It is more fuel efficient than the old Dost and that makes for considerable savings over time.

After about 6 months of heavy use, I’ve observed some electrical gremlins popping up. Nothing major, but annoying.

My business has been a workhorse for it. Super reliable and easy to maneuver in tight spots.
@pranshu-miover 1 year ago
Absolutely worth it. The simple fact that I have been able to take on bigger jobs, and make more money as a result, is thanks to the additional payload alone.

I regret the purchase. It hasn’t been sufficient for the extra cost to bring in more additional profit.

I have had mine for a year now and I do daily runs in Mumbai. No major issues so far, just routine maintenance.

I do not like the suspension. Empty, it is a little stiff and that’s often the case in city deliveries.
@angad-kumaover 1 year ago
I like it but I feel that Ashok Leyland could have priced it better for the small business owners.
@rishi-sethover 1 year ago
OK, but I would have liked a little more of those low end grunts for tackling some seriously nasty inclines.

A lot of my mountain routes, and the Bada Dost does a great job on them. No complaints here.
@pramod-kumover 1 year ago
It brakes very well on descents. Feels much more controlled than my old Tata Ace.
@bhramita-rover 1 year ago
I’ve had some issues overheating on really long, steep climbs and otherwise, it’s decent.

Hill climbing is possible with the gear ratios. Unlike some other LCVs, you do not have to constantly shift.
@chandan-kuover 1 year ago
I have thought of it as being pretty average. It works for what it does but it isn’t easy.

It's a beast on hills! When you start climbing steep grades, the extra torque is what really shines.
