How does Pulsar NS125 fare in city traffic as a 125cc bike?
Indian motorcyclists know all too well how difficult it is to navigate congested city streets. Riders love to talk about how the Pulsar NS125 performs in the urban environment. Others assert that its slim, slippery shape calmly cuts through city traffic and that it's nimble and responsive enough to handle such tasks. Some say its slightly heavier weight compared to some of the competition doesn’t make it the best for stop and go riding. Comfort on long commutes is also dependent on your bike’s suspension setup and your seating position. The sportier nature of the NS125 is something riders debate as being an advantage or disadvantage to the urban jungle compared to more upright, commuter oriented 125cc models.

I think it’s too much for pure city use. Yes, it's fun; but for daily commutes a more practical and economical option would be something like a Splendor/Activa.

In the city, the NS125 brakes are a huge plus. It's really nice to have that extra confidence when you have to stop suddenly due to some idiot not looking before crossing the road.

In traffic, I actually prefer the slightly heavier NS125 feel. So it feels more planted and stable particularly when you're going through crazy auto rickshaws that cut across lanes.

In the city, the NS125’s suspension is a godsend. The potholes and rough roads soak up way better than most other 125cc bikes I have tried. It makes a big difference in comfort.

It's a mixed bag. While the power is more than enough for fast overtakes, the sporty riding position tires quickly over long commutes. I would say that it is better than average, but not the best for pure city use.

It’s a bit heavy for constant stop and go riding. The Honda Shine feels lighter and easier to maneuver in really tight spots, something like that.

In city traffic the NS125 is a beast! The nimble handling makes squeezing through gaps easy and, combined with the torquey engine, means you can zip away from the lights quickly. The better than most other 125s I’ve ridden.
