How do the Altroz CNG’s boot space figures fare against its rivals?

When it comes to hatchbacks, boot space is a big deal for many car buyers. Given the Tata Altroz CNG is a premium hatchback, it is quite expected to offer a lot of storage space to store your everyday and sometimes even for the road trips. But CNG variants usually give up some boot space for the gas cylinder. The big question this raises is about the practicality of the Altroz CNG for families and individuals who need to occasionally carry luggage or groceries. But how does it compare to other CNG hatchbacks in terms of usable boot space? Is there anything clever storage wise or design wise that helps to utilize the available space? In this piece, we will check out how the Altroz CNG manages to strike a balance between fuel efficiency and practical storage needs, and if it has a compelling enough package for space conscious buyers.

The boot space in the Altroz CNG is a non issue for me. I can get by with what I have, and on the rare occasion I need more space, I just fold down the rear seats. Problem solved!

Tata missed an opportunity here, I think. Instead, they could have created a more innovative storage solution. The boot space is just average as it stands, nothing to write home about.

Because let’s be real, if boot space is your top priority, a CNG hatchback isn’t for you. The Altroz does okay, but you’re still losing space to the petrol version.

The Altroz actually does pretty well compared to other CNG hatchbacks. The CNG tank has been integrated well by Tata without eating too much of the space. Not an SUV, but for a hatchback, pretty decent.

The boot space of the Altroz CNG pleasantly surprised me. Not huge, but definitely usable. I can easily fit a couple of medium sized suitcases.
