Be cautious about comparing only the stated warranty duration. The useful cost figure is the pro-rata settlement against the prevailing MRP, compared with the same battery's current selling price. Request a worked calculation in writing before accepting the claim offer.

Will the replacement battery fit the vehicle's actual electrical needs and available tray space, rather than merely carrying the longest warranty label? Ask the seller to confirm the exact application, terminal layout and fitment, especially for vehicles with start-stop systems or added accessories. Then keep the invoice and seven-day registration proof together. A generous pro-rata period has limited practical value if an unsuitable battery creates repeat charging trouble or the correct model is difficult to source quickly.
