Does the Kia EV9's third row actually work for adults?
Third row seating in SUVs has been a long debate among car enthusiasts and families about how practical it is. Many vehicles tout three rows of seating, but the truth is often that the back row is only good for small children or short trips. As a full size electric SUV, the Kia EV9 is said to offer loads of space for seven adults. But the real usability of its third row is a question mark for potential buyers. Ease of access, legroom, headroom and in general comfort are all factors to consider and will determine if these seats are practical for adults. Furthermore, the effects of using the third row on cargo space and vehicle range are also of interest. For families or groups in need of a truly spacious electric vehicle, understanding the real world functionality of the EV9's third row is crucial.
It is roomy in the third row! I'm 6' tall and can sit back there comfortably for a couple of hours. It’s not luxury seating, but it’s useable for adults.
