Does the CT 150X actually work out on the fuel efficiency front as Bajaj claims?

Commuter bikes such as Bajaj CT 150X are a major selling proposition as manufacturers tend to make bold mileage claims. But like all other vehicles, the CT 150X that Bajaj has advertised impressive fuel efficiency figures, but in real world experience, these figures may differ. Actual fuel consumption depends on factors such riding style, traffic conditions, load and maintenance. This has generated huge discussions among owners and potential buyers about how efficient the CT 150X really is in different riding conditions. There are some users who do get close to, or even get over, the claimed figures, and there are some users that are disappointed with what they are getting in the real world. The difference has fueled arguments over the truthfulness of manufacturer claims, the effect that riding habits have on fuel economy and how the CT 150X stacks up against its rivals when it comes to running costs.

But in my experience, the CT 150X comes very close to what Bajaj claims. I get 55 - 60 kmpl in city traffic, which is quite good for a 150cc bike.
