Does the Aura’s ride quality make it suitable for Indian roads?

Roads in India can be anything from smooth highways to pothole city streets to dirt roads in the country. This diversity of road conditions places enormous demands on a vehicle's suspension system, and therefore ride quality. Being a compact sedan the Hyundai Aura toughs it out to find a comfortable goldilocks ride quality and the required handling characteristics expected in this segment. Owners and reviewers are still at odds over how well the Aura manages this balance. Nothing feels hard or firm; it absorbs bumps well and rides rather smooth, but to some, it's too soft, too wallowy, especially at higher speeds. When discussing the Aura, the discussion, usually at some point, comes down to a comparison of the Aura’s ride comfort, handling, and overall stability on various road conditions against that of its competitors. Given how many potential buyers seem to travel on roads less than ideal, the Aura's performance in this area may sway some buyers.

I’ve put my Aura well over 30,000 km over a range of road conditions and ride quality is pretty impressive. Most potholes and bumps are handled without too much fuss. Of course it's not plush like larger sedans, but among its peers it manages to do a good job of hiding passengers from road imperfections.
