Does the Alcazar build quality and long term reliability stack up to its price tag?

Being a premium compact SUV, the chunk of money it comes at is also premium. In the process, it has prompted conversations about whether its build quality and long term reliability match its premium positioning and price. Buyers in this price range do expect a vehicle in this price range to have better build quality, better material and more robust construction than a vehicle in a lower price range. And there are questions about the long term durability of some of the more advanced features of the Alcazar, such as the digital displays and electronic systems. This debate also brings up bigger questions of perceived quality in the Indian auto market, and whether manufacturers are actually delivering value in their pricier products. That also pertains to Hyundai's general reputation for reliability and where the Alcazar sits in terms of the long haul as an ownership experience in comparison to its siblings and other brands' offerings.

I’ve had my Alcazar for more than a year now and the build quality seems sturdy. The interior materials have stood up well and so far no rattles or squeaks. Overall quality-wise it definitely feels a step above the Creta.
