Does black paint on the Nexon Dark Edition need more maintenance?
Car enthusiasts and potential buyers have been discussing the signature all black exterior paint on the Tata Nexon Dark Edition. It's also thought that black cars are more high maintenance than lighter colours. Because they tend to show dust, scratches and swirl marks more easily, which might be a concern to those who want their car to look its best at all times. There are those that say that the black paint needs to be washed and detailed more frequently to keep its glossy look. And, if you're thinking about painting, you also have to ask yourself how well the paint holds up in harsh sunlight and whether or not it fades more easily over time. On the other side of the coin, the Dark Edition’s proponents say that if properly taken care of, the black exterior truly is very good looking and makes the car look more premium. And beyond that, there is the debate on whether the extra effort in maintenance is worth giving the car extra aesthetic appeal, and how much impact it might have on the car resale value later on.
I mean yes, it's a pain to keep clean. Shows every speck of dust. It looks amazing when clean though!
