Do people actually think the Nissan Kicks is underpowered?

If you are looking for a car that has a lot more to give the Nissan Kicks does often come into contention with its lackluster performance indicated mainly in terms of acceleration and highway driving. It has some owners who claim it can't merge onto a highway or come up beside another car and others who say it's just fine for everyday driving. People debate whether the 122 horsepower engine is enough for a car this big and heavy. The CVT transmission is criticized by critics who say it makes the driving experience feel even more sluggish. But defenders of the Kicks say it's intended as an efficient urban commuter, not a sports car. However, there have been many discussions among potential buyers and car enthusiasts over how much power does it actually generate as the topic has been one of the most controversial.

It's not a race car, but it works for what it's supposed to be. I have had mine for 2 years and never felt unsafe merging or passing on the highway. People exaggerate.
