Did the Zen Estilo's fuel efficiency live up to Maruti's reputation?
Maruti Suzuki has long been known for producing fuel-efficient vehicles, a key factor in their popularity in the Indian market. The Zen Estilo, launched as a more practical successor to the original Zen, came with expectations of continuing this tradition of excellent fuel economy. It featured a 1.1-liter petrol engine, which was slightly larger than its predecessor's, raising questions about whether it could maintain the same level of efficiency. Fuel efficiency is a crucial factor for many Indian car buyers, often ranking high in their list of priorities. The Estilo's real-world fuel consumption became a topic of discussion among owners and potential buyers, with comparisons drawn not only to the original Zen but also to other contemporary small cars in the market. This aspect of the car's performance has been debated in automotive forums and discussions, with varying reports from users about their experiences.
In my experience, it was pretty good on fuel. Not as amazing as some other Marutis, but still economical.
