Did Bajaj miss an opportunity by discontinuing the Discover 135 Sports?

During the production run, the Discover 135 Sports had its own following, but Bajaj decided to replace the bike upon arriving of other models. The decision has incited motorcycle aficionados into debating whether the company made a mistake. Others claim that the bike's distinctive combination of performance and efficiency could have been developed to fight in today's market. Some think it was inevitable that it was discontinued because changing consumer preferences and stricter emissions standards made it so. The conversation usually revolves around if a modernized version could have found a place in Bajaj's line up or if the resources would have been better spent to develop new platforms. Some fans of the model imagine how it could have been updated with modern features, while still appealing to its core fans, while others wonder if there is even a place for such a specialized offering these days.
