Could the Honda SFA 150 change the face of motorcycle parking in crowded cities?
In cities with large populations, parking is a nightmare as the cars and motorbikes jostle for scarce parking spaces. The Honda SFA 150 concept is a compact design and could potentially fit in much smaller spots than traditional motorcycles. All this makes for very interesting questions about urban planning and motorcycle infrastructure. Could cities create mini parking spots for bikes, similar to the SFA 150? What would this do to traffic flow and congestion? Would that get more people out of cars and into motorcycles for their daily commute? But let’s also look at the possible pitfalls and drawbacks of such a system.
Absolutely! Think of SFA 150-sized parking spots all over the city. For urban riders it could be a game changer and might even convince some car drivers to make the switch.
