Could the Eliminator 175 have become an electric cruiser?
As the trend of electric motorcycles continues to rise, some enthusiasts are starting to speculate if Bajaj could come out with an electric version of the Bajaj Eliminator 175. In many ways, the idea of putting classic cruiser styling together with modern electric propulsion is intriguing. The question is whether the attributes of a cruiser such as low end torque and a laid back riding position can be applied to an electric powertrain. However, there’s debate over whether such a concept would appeal to traditional cruiser fans or if it could attract a new audience who want to ride eco friendly on a classic aesthetic. The talk also covers the difficulties of retaining the cruiser's visual and riding great whilst fitting in the battery packs and electric motors.
That would've been a game-changer! An electric Eliminator could have been a classic cruiser with futuristic tech, the instant torque of an electric motor in a laid back cruiser body could have been amazing.
