More and more retro styled motorcycles have been coming out in recent years and there have been rumors that classic models like the Bajaj Boxer might make a comeback. Old nameplates with modern technology have been reawakened by many manufacturers, appealing to both older riders looking for a nostalgic trip in the saddle, and younger enthusiasts looking for a vintage aesthetic. Could the Boxer do the same? Think about what kind of design changes might be done, what modern features will be needed and how it can be put in the market now. Could a neo-retro Boxer manage to be a Boxer of the original spirit, while satisfying the standards of today and the expectations of today? Nah, it's too utilitarian for the Boxer. Retro bikes have to be a bit glamorous to sell.

If they keep it affordable, it could work. Not everyone is willing to pay Royal Enfield prices to get retro looks.

Now Bajaj is focused on performance. They don’t want a retro Boxer anymore.
