Could the Apollo IE be something that I could be getting into on a daily basis?
Neither a GT car for the track, nor a GT car for the road, the Apollo IE is advertised as a track focused hypercar. But it’s also road legal, so the question is what the hell would you use it for on a day to day basis? The notion of trading in your daily driver to drive a multi million dollar hypercar might sound far fetched to some but for others it’s the reason there are cars to begin with. This debate, however, broadly talks about the question of whether hypercars are meant to be garage queens, investment pieces or if they are meant to be used and shared just like any other vehicle. This also raises concerns regarding the ground clearance, fuel efficiency and comfort of real world usability of such ultra machines.
No way. It’s too low for everyday roads, way too low, a really impractical scenario.
Why not? If you can, drive it. If you can not, take public transit and do not be ashamed to walk too. After all, a car isn’t just a car, it’s meant to be used, it’s supposed to have a reason to exist.
It would be a nightmare technically — but you could. Can you picture putting that thing in a grocery store't slots?
It would be awesome to daily drive but you would spend probably more time answering questions about it than actually driving it.
It's possible, but not advisable. The insane wear and tear, and no way is it designed for stop and go traffic.
Maybe if you live somewhere with perfect roads, no speed limits and a particular type of blood that doesn’t clot. Otherwise, it's just not practical.
The feat of using it as a daily driver would be epic in size. Impractical, but legendary.
I'd love to see someone try. At least, I think this would make for an interesting YouTube series.
The actual question is why would you? It’s for the track;Use it there.
