Can the Dominar 200 hold its own against bigger bikes on long trips?

The Indian motorcycle community is divided over if the smaller displacement bike such as the Dominar 200 can actually stand their ground against the larger bikes on long tours. A few riders speculate that the 200cc engine on the Dominar could have trouble keeping up with highway speeds under load. Meanwhile others emphasize that it’s more practical for budget conscious tourers thanks to its low fuel consumption and lower maintenance costs. Rider comfort on long journeys is also discussed, taking into account wind protection, seat ergonomics and vibration levels. Also, a few wonder if Dominar 200 can compete with the presence and road presence of larger touring motorcycles. As more and more riders in India take to long distance motorcycling, this question raises the debate between performance, practicality and hence the overall touring experience.

Have done a 1000km trip on my Dominar 200 in the company of friends with 400cc+ bikes. It kept up pretty well, surprisingly. It struggled a little on steep inclines but on flat highways it cruised at 100-110 km/h without a problem.
