As a first bike for new riders, how does the Pulsar N125 fare?

Picking your first motorcycle is a big decision, and one that often sees the Pulsar N125 thrown into the ring. But it’s got that sporty Pulsar DNA in a more manageable package. Others say it's the perfect stepping stone: not so much power that it's overwhelming for newbies, but enough so that it's exciting. Some say it's better to start with something even smaller or move right to a 150cc. It also begs the question of learning curve - is it forgiving enough for someone who is new to two wheels? How about long term satisfaction – will new riders grow out of it too quickly? Of course, maintenance and running costs are things too, particularly for younger riders on a budget. New riders who started on the N125 and experienced riders who can weigh in on how it compares to other beginner friendly offerings would be great to hear from.

It's a great first bike. Neither too much power to be intimidating for new riders, nor too little to be fun.
