Are Zontes' high-tech features really useful or just gimmicks?

by geeta kumariover 1 year ago0 views2 comments
Although Zontes has been making waves in the motorcycle market by including advanced technological features in their 350cc lineup,. Keyless ignition systems, TFT displays with smartphone connectivity, tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), and features as far as electrically adjustable windscreens are all included. Although these features are usually only seen on more expensive motorcycles, their presence on the more affordable Zontes range has caused controversy amongst riders. Others regard these as useful innovations that improve the riding experience and provide good value for money. Some, however, doubt if these features are really essential or functional on a daily basis, even more so in the case of a midrange motorcycle. The long-term reliability and maintenance costs of these high-tech components are also of concern. As such, the discussion also delves into the larger themes of technology integration in motorcycling as well as changing expectations of riders in various market segments.

Most of these features are there to look good in the showroom, let's be honest. How much do you really need half of this stuff?

I love all these fancy features now, but down the line, I worry about repair costs. After the warranty period, what happens when that TFT display dies?
