Škoda India currently lists the Slavia 1.5 TSI with a seven-speed DSG on Prestige and Monte Carlo variants, while the 1.0 TSI uses an eight-speed torque-converter automatic across a wider variant range. For a buyer facing prolonged weekday crawling plus regular highway use, the question is which complete powertrain and ownership package fits better, not whether one gearbox has a universal verdict.
