2026 Bajaj Pulsar N250SS vs NS200 in India: torque and everyday ease or the sharper chassis?
Bajaj has priced the Pulsar N250SS at ₹1,59,406 and the upgraded NS200 at ₹1,60,374, both ex-showroom Delhi. The gap is ₹968, so this is less about budget than which hardware fits the rider.
What changes the decision?
| Area | N250SS | NS200 |
|---|---|---|
| Engine | 249 cc, 25 PS, 22 Nm | 199.5 cc liquid-cooled, 25.5 PS |
| Chassis | Everyday-focused N-platform package | Perimeter frame, 37 mm USD fork and radial rear tyre |
| Shared equipment | Six-speed transmission, ETB ride modes, 5-inch TFT with Google Maps mirroring and Sports Shifter | |
| Extra listed feature | — | Traction control |
The useful test ride should compare low- and mid-range response, heat and refinement in traffic, suspension control, steering confidence, pillion comfort and highway cruising. Service cost, fuel use and resale also matter, but community comments do not establish those outcomes for every motorcycle.
For daily traffic plus occasional highway rides, would the N250SS larger engine and additional torque matter more than the NS200 cooling, chassis and traction-control package? What rider experience, pillion use or on-road budget would change the choice?
