In which terms Yamaha FZS V2 is better than Suzuki Gixxer?
02 January 2023 06:23
Yamaha FZS is better in terms of engine refinement and quality of riding when compared to Gixxer. The fuel injection makes the ride more smooth, improves its fuel efficiency and reduces the emissions from the motorcycles. Even the ride quality of the version 2.0 is much better than the first version and Suzuki Gixxer. The Yamaha FZS loses to the Gixxer when it comes to stats, in which the Gixxer clearly wins the game. It comes with nearly the same specifications like same sized tyres and body design, making it a tough choice between the both. But Yamaha at the end provides a much relaxed ride, with an option for rider and pillion to be safe and clean on wet roads with its tyre hugger. Even the price difference between the bikes would point out at Gixxer, but riding both once after the other will clearly state the difference. You are always welcome with any of your queries regarding the automobile industry.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF would be the best one as it comes with a design which clearly describe it as the winner among all the competitors. The Gixxer SF comes with the same 155.4 cc engine powering the Gixxer 155. Bajaj AS150 produces more power on the paper than the Gixxer SF. On the other hand, Gixxer SF is more refined while riding as its fully faired design is one of the best in the world, tested upto a superbike level and provides the best stability while riding. It also comes in a MotoGP edition, which looks seriously mind blowing and represents a track racer on normal roads. What is the reserve fuel capacity of Suzuki Gixxer?
02 January 2023 06:18
The reserve fuel tank capacity of Gixxer has not been revealed by Suzuki or any other authority who has been testing and reviewing the bikes. The total fuel tank capacity is 12 liters. You can yourself measure the capacity if the vehicle is available with you by filling 3 liters of fuel in it and driving till the reserve gets activated. Then you can pull the pipe out from the fuel system and empty the fuel in a measuring flask. The empty tank would give you the exact usable reserve fuel in the bike. Sounds odd, but you will get a new figure, which no one else know.

In every aspect, the Yamaha R15 v2.0 is the best choice out of both. The basic diffrences come in power and torque figures, which for R15 are better than the Gixxer SF. Also R15 has liquid cooling, double disc brakes, twin headlight cluster and fuel injection over the Gixxer SF. Which one is better - Suzuki Gixxer SF or Bajaj Pulsar NS200?
02 January 2023 06:17
It is a bit tad vague to compare Pulsar 200 NS and Suzuki Gixxer SF as the former is a naked bike in the 200cc segment and the latter is a fully faired bike in the 150cc segment. Suzuki Gixxer SF is the best motorcycle in the 150 CC segment as of now (2015).
The amount of power, the styling and looks, the handling and braking abilities that it offers in its price bracket (Rs. 96k approx. on road Patna) is highly commendable. If you compare any bike in the 150cc segment with Gixxer SF then it will come out with flying colours, hands down.
You can also check out such comparisons on the web. Coming on to the Pulsar 200NS. It is a powerhouse bike in the 200cc segment. It offers a lot of power and amazing naked muscular looks but it lags behind a bit in the handling and braking department.
It is on the stiffer side in handling and the braking is not that good owing to its not so good tyres. It is priced at approx. 1.05 lakhs on road Patna. You would now be thinking that when you are getting more power in almost the same amount of money then why go for Gixxer SF?
But do know that Pulsar 200NS has to offer more power as it is a 200cc bike. Also, Suzuki Gixxer SF is the cheapest fully faired bike in India as of now (2015). Both bikes are good value for money products in their respective segments. My call would have been Suzuki Gixxer SF. Now it's up to you to decide whether you want to have a 150cc bike or a 200cc bike.

02 January 2023 06:17
Suzuki Gixxer SF in such has no major disadvantages from a common man point of view. It gives decent mileage and is really good at its price. It can be called a bit unsafe as for the competitive price, some compromise with safety has been done with the non availability of rear disc and the absence of ABS. Also a projector headlight could have been used for better visibility and a carburetor could have been replaced with a fuel injection system.
