Is 2024 the right time to buy a used Maruti Gypsy?
30 December 2024 10:32
Absolutely! The Gypsy is an eternal beast. Yes, it’s not the most practical daily driver, but as a weekend toy for off roading it is unbeatable. It’s easy to work on because of the simple mechanics and there’s a great community of Gypsy enthusiasts out there who can help with parts or advice.
Is 2024 the right time to buy a used Maruti Gypsy?

It all depends on what you expect. It's not a comfortable, fuel efficient ride, if that's what you're after. However, if you’re looking for a raw, pure off road experience and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, it is tough to beat a Gypsy. If you’re getting an older car, just know that you will have to deal with the idiosyncrasies of having an older vehicle.

It's a mixed bag. There's no denying that the Gypsy is a fun, capable off roader, but it's just a handful in everyday use. And if you have the space and the budget for a second vehicle, do it. If it’s going to be your only car, you may want to reconsider.
Why are Gypsy engine swaps a thing?
30 December 2024 10:32
The Gypsy is a game changer for engine swaps. The Baleno engine is popular because it brings more power with better fuel efficiency. I'm like giving an old dog new tricks!
