Should you upgrade from the base variant to the higher trims of the Celerio?

The second from top trim was the sweet spot for me. The price jump didn't add very much to the very top trim.

When I test drove it, honestly I was surprised how roomy it felt. It’s not an SUV, but for a small car, it’s pretty impressive.

Spacious? Maybe for ants. I’ve been in one and I felt like I was in a sardine can. My Sonet feels way more open.

It's all about smart design. Maruti has done a good job of making the most of available space. It feels bigger than it is.

People seem to be getting not claustrophobic confused with spacious. It’s decent for its size, but no need to go overboard.

For a tall guy, the headroom was pretty good. Legroom's okay too. It isn't a luxury sedan, but it's more than enough for city driving.

The quality of the plastic is cheap and the space is fine. I’d rather have a little smaller cabin and better materials.

For what it is, an affordable city car, it’s spacious. If you want SUV like space you are in the wrong segment.

Absolutely! Through some pretty rough patches I’ve taken my Celerio and it has never scraped the bottom. During monsoons, it’s a lifesaver.

It’s fine, but it’s not an offroader by any stretch. Still I have to be careful over big speed breakers.

The wheelbase is long and sometimes creates problems, but the clearance is good. It's a trade-off.

I think it's overhyped. It’s better than some sedans, of course, but there’s plenty of hatchback out there that can handle the same roads.

Being someone who has driven the old and the new Celerio, I can tell you the new model has more clearance and that is helpful.

For city use it's good, but on highways, I think the high clearance makes it a bit unstable at speeds.

The Celerio’s clearance is a breath of fresh air, coming from a lower car. No need to stress about every little bump anymore.

It’s not good, but it’s not bad. At the price, it's what you'd expect. It's been 3 years and mine's held up fine.

I think it's pretty bad. The plastics are cheap and the doors feel tinny. I wish I had spent a little more for a Tiago.

People exaggerate. Yes, it’s built to a price point, but it’s not like it’s going to fall apart. Daily use is perfectly adequate.

I own both a Celerio and a Hyundai, the difference in build quality is night and day. Maruti has to up their game.

It's all relative. It's not bad at all compared to cars of a decade ago. Now, we’re just spoiled for choice.
