I don't see how they can go that low without killing battery or functionality. I guess it will come to be somewhere around 18-20 lakhs.

It's a smart move. They're going after a younger buyer who wants something that's different. Other options will still be available to the traditional Maruti customers.

I think it's a bit too much. Indian roads are rough and all those fancy angles and creases don’t look like they’ll be easy to keep clean and maintain.

Absolutely! Through some pretty rough patches I’ve taken my Celerio and it has never scraped the bottom. During monsoons, it’s a lifesaver.
