In my e2o Plus, I feel pretty safe. It has good visibility thanks to its high seating position and regenerative braking in sudden stops. For its size, it is more stable than I expected.

Safe? You feel like you are driving a tin can! Every time a bus or truck goes by, I get nervous. Don’t even think about taking it on the highway – it gets blown around by crosswinds.

It's as safe as you drive it. I keep to city limits and drive defensively. In chaotic traffic, the car's agility actually is a help in avoiding accidents. I wouldn't want to be in it during a major collision, though.

For a car its size, the safety features are decent, but let's be real, physics is physics. The e2o is at a disadvantage in a crash with a larger vehicle. That’s the story of calculated risks.

Mahindra could do more to inspire confidence, I think. Why not get a EuroNCAP rating? Crash test results would be more transparent. It just feels like we’re taking their word for it right now.

India needs these features and it’s about time we get them. Of course there are bound to be a few teething problems, but we can't continue to fall behind the rest of the world in automotive tech.

I think it's overkill. Is augmented reality and multiple screens really what we need to get from point A to point B? It seems like a recipe for distracted driving to me.

It's a double-edged sword. The question is: could these features make driving safer and easier — but also increase our dependency on technology? What happens when it fails?

There is no way it can compete with the big boys. In the luxury market, brand perception is everything and Mahindra just doesn’t have that cachet.
