I want to buy a 125 cc bike. I am confused between Bajaj 125M & Honda CB Shine. My friends use Honda Shine but I personally favour Discover. Which one should I buy? Is Discover a worthy bike?
02 January 2023 06:46
Starting from the styling part, Bajaj Discover 125M has got a fresh look with its excellent design, paint and the muscular tank. The CB Shine demands a bit of update when it comes to design. Another amazing part of the Discover 125M is its spider web alloy wheels which are again missing in the Honda CB Shine.
The seating and the riding position for both the bikes is comfortable but of course the the Discover 125M has got a longer seat. The seat height for both the bikes is good enough to comfortably accommodate small to medium heighted riders.
CB Shine is behind the Discover when it comes to performance due to its kerb weight of 118 kgs whereas the Discover weighs 117 kgs. With Honda Shine you can reach max to 90 km/hr but with Discover you can easily hit 95 km/hr.
The mileage for the Discover comes out to be 63 km/l while the Shine returns 55-57 km/l on a daily basis.
Both of them offer good ride quality and handling. Discover 125M is unbeatable as it is a fuel-efficient bike that comes with a disc brake as well. So, it can be called as complete value for money bike.

How can I solve the problem of back pain as I recently bought a Bajaj Avenger 150 Street and the pain is spoiling my drives?
02 January 2023 06:46
Although the Bajaj Avenger Street 150 comes with cushioned seats but yes there have been many complaints about the discomfort while riding. This is due to the improper positioning of the handlebars, seat and foot-peg. The handlebar are too far off from the rider. In case, the rider sits within the contours of the seat by placing his legs on the foot rest then a lot of stretch is required in order to reach the handlebar. This is a major reason of discomfort which has caused back pain. Try sitting slightly closer to the tank which may even cause a bit of discomfort but still help in easing pain.
Why Bajaj Pulsar 220F does not have a 6th gear and single suspension at the back?
02 January 2023 06:45
Bajaj Pulsar 220F belongs to an old generation of motorcycles which were fitted with a a 5-speed gearbox and the use of 6-speed gearbox as well as monoshock was limited to expensive bikes. If Bajaj would have updated the same with technologies like fuel injection and others, the motorcycle would have costed around 1,25,000 at that time. Now they cannot do the same as it will cannibalize the sales of higher variants like AS200 and RS200. If someone wants loads of technology, RS200 is the option while if brute power is the need, Pulsar 220F manages it well.

So, there's no release date for its launch in India yet. But we can always expect things to be positive and hope that it will be launched in India soon. Till then we can only wait for the court to declare it safe because it is obviously safer than a 2 wheeler.

Which one is the best - Royal Enfield Classic 350 or KTM RC 200 or Bajaj Pulsar RS200?
02 January 2023 06:44
All of three of them are great choice. Your final selection should depend on what you're looking in a motorcycle. If you are looking for performance, handling and riding dynamics, go for the KTM RC. It is leagues ahead of the other two. If you want ABS, fuel economy, and practicality, the RS200 will be the ideal choice. Coming to Royal Enfield, it's a different machine altogether; it is less about speed, mileage and practicality and more about attitude and personality. Test drive all three of them, and choose the one you like the most.

I am using a Bajaj Pulsar 220F.... The Bike is awesome but front mask vibrates.. how to fix it?
02 January 2023 06:43
Pulsar 220F is an excellent motorcycle and its semi faired design sometimes irritates the rider with its rattling sound. It happens when the screws get loose and this happens most of the times when they are tightened after a regular service. You can ask the person who services your bike to tighten all the screws and end the problem. Sometimes, red-lining the bike creates a lot of vibration throughout the body and results in a temporary rattle of the body. This cannot be corrected as there would be no noise till 6,000 rpm, post which the bike produces extra ordinary vibrations.
Will Bajaj launch the Vikrant bike (V15) in Bangladesh?
02 January 2023 06:43
Bajaj V15 has been specifically made for India as it uses the metal from the retired Indian warship INS Vikrant. Bajaj would start the export most probably after the bikes with the metal are sold in the country and the rest would be made without the INS Vikrant's metal. It is one of the best priced 150 cc motorcycle of India while its rear end and low stance makes it look different than others on the road. It is powered by a 149.5 cc engine producing 13 Nm of torque at a relatively low 5500 rpm.
