Is the Bajaj Blade 125’s digital instrument cluster overkill for a basic commuter?

It's a smart move. It makes the bike feel more modern and more premium.
Is the Bajaj Blade 125’s digital instrument cluster overkill for a basic commuter?

I’d rather have a fancy cluster or better build quality, I’d rather have ABS.
Is the Bajaj Blade 125’s digital instrument cluster overkill for a basic commuter?

It's future-proofing. Soon, digital clusters will be standard, Bajaj are just a little bit ahead of the curve.
Is the Bajaj Blade 125 trying too hard to look like a bigger bike?

I think it looks awesome! A 125cc that doesn't look like a boring old man bike, finally. Younger riders will be attracted by the sporty design.

It's way too much. Seems they bolted some KTM bits onto a commuter and said there you go. Make it simple, and make it functional.

The styling is growing on me. It’s not obnoxious, but stands out. It kinda looks like a mini Ducati Hypermotard.
Is the Bajaj Blade 125 trying too hard to look like a bigger bike?
14 January 2025 07:50
Trying way too hard. This isn't a supermoto, it's a 125cc commuter. It just makes the tall stance look awkward.
Is the Bajaj Blade 125 trying too hard to look like a bigger bike?

What I like is that they are taking risks with the design. It’s better to be polarizing than forgettable. It's not another cookie-cutter bike, at least.
Will the Bajaj Blade 125’s high ground clearance actually offer any real use in India?
14 January 2025 07:50
Absolutely! Have you seen our roads? In monsoons, that extra clearance will be a lifesaver.
Will the Bajaj Blade 125’s high ground clearance actually offer any real use in India?
14 January 2025 07:50
It's overkill. A wheelbase that’s too long will make the bike feel taller and less stable, and most riders won’t need that much clearance.
Will the Bajaj Blade 125’s high ground clearance actually offer any real use in India?
14 January 2025 07:50
I think it could be useful but I’m worried about the center of gravity being too high for a beginner friendly 125cc.
Will the Bajaj Blade 125’s high ground clearance actually offer any real use in India?

It's a smart move by Bajaj. While you may not need it often, it’s nice to have when you hit a nasty pothole.
Will the Bajaj Blade 125’s high ground clearance actually offer any real use in India?
14 January 2025 07:50
It might be good for tier 2/3 cities, but in metros, it’s unnecessary. Instead, they should have focused on better suspension.
Will the Bajaj Blade 125’s high ground clearance actually offer any real use in India?

I like it. Even if it is just psychological, it gives the bike a more capable, go anywhere vibe.
Will the Bajaj Blade 125’s high ground clearance actually offer any real use in India?

It's a gimmick. If you need that much clearance you shouldn't be on a 125cc commuter.
What will be the right price point for the Avenger 400 if Bajaj launches it?
14 January 2025 07:48
Under 2.5 lakh would be a steal. To make a real impact, it has to undercut the RE Interceptor 650.
What will be the right price point for the Avenger 400 if Bajaj launches it?
14 January 2025 07:48
I feel 2.2-2.3 lakh is the sweet spot. Premium enough to feel high, but low enough that the average buyer looking to upgrade can afford it.
What will be the right price point for the Avenger 400 if Bajaj launches it?
14 January 2025 07:48
To really shake up the market, they should price it aggressively at 1.9 – 2 lakh. The manufacturing scale is on Bajaj.
What will be the right price point for the Avenger 400 if Bajaj launches it?
14 January 2025 07:48
To make sense it has to be under 2 lakh. Beyond that and people will just save up for a 650cc bike.
What will be the right price point for the Avenger 400 if Bajaj launches it?
14 January 2025 07:48
So if they load it with features, I’d say 2.4 – 2.5 lakh is fair. If you do it right, people will pay for quality and technology.
