Should I buy a used Bajaj Pulsar 200 DTS-i 2008 model?
02 January 2023 06:48
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 DTS-i 2008 is available with an estimated price of INR 30,000 in the used market. If you are planning to buy this motorcycle without EMI, it is suggested that you should put the same amount as down payment and buy yourself a new 150-200 cc motorcycle from your favorite brand. The 9 year old motorcycle won't give you the right feel while riding. If you plan to keep it for a short time, then it would be good but if you wish to spend atleast 3-5 years with your bike, a new one or a newer used model is recommended. What are the launch expectations of Bajaj Pulsar CS200?

Bajaj Pulsar CS200 is not a product under Bajaj's list of upcoming products. The RS series was pushed with the 200 cc engine while the CS series, which has now got the name Dominar, will be coming in the Indian market with a 400 cc offering. The motorcycle uses the same 373.2 cc motor as KTM 390 Duke, producing a max of 35 PS at 8000 rpm. The same is expected to be offered with ABS as an option while its pricing will stay under INR 2 lakh, on-road. Dominar 400 will launch in the mid of December 2016. What will be the final Bajaj Pulsar lineup by the end of this year?
02 January 2023 06:48
Bajaj Pulsar lineup would see a bit of change before the year ends. The current models are here to stay and would receive updates in the form of new components and shades. They all will now comply with the BS4 norms while there are no chances of discontinuation of any product. The upcoming Dominar 400 will a totally different brand name while the news of AS series being discontinued is also false. All of the bikes are just being updated for lesser emissions and better power delivery. The dual disc Pulsar 180 is a sure shot product while the same cannot be said for the 150 cc model. Which is better Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 or Bajaj Pulsar 150?
02 January 2023 06:47
Starting from the looks of Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 we can say it is indeed a good looking bike with new colours, paint scheme and graphics, tubeless tyres and new instrument panel. Powering the Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0 is 149cc engine based on Yamaha’s Blue Core technology which can produce 12.1PS at 7,500rpm and torque peaks at 12.8Nm at 6,000rpm. Bajaj Pulsar 150 also gets its power from the 149 cc engine which produces 15 Bhp at 9000 rpm. And the design part of Bajaj Pulsar 150 is also striking and attractive. In fact both are very close competitors but Bajaj wins over when it comes to performance and Yamaha wins when it comes to engine refinement and quality it delivers.

Should I buy Bajaj Pulsar 220F?
02 January 2023 06:46
Hello Sidharth, the AS200 has not actually failed from the performance perspective while the low sales number is the reason to bring the failure tag close to it. The Pulsar 220F is a great motorcycle for sure but its typical rear half section feels outdated for a motorcycle of this class. If faired is your first choice, you only have the choice between Pulsar AS200, 220F, Yamaha Fazer and Suzuki Gixxer under INR 1 lakh. Lack of option and least difference between the prices of 150 cc others and 220 cc Pulsar makes it  the clear winner out of all. However, the KTM sourced 199.5 cc motor is more refined and uses more technology on the AS200. If you plan to keep your bike with you for next 4-5 few years, do consider your favorite instead of going over low market value and resale prices.
What is the fuel tank capacity and reserve fuel tank capacity of Bajaj pulsar 150 DTSi 2008 model?
02 January 2023 06:46
Bajaj Pulsar comes with a 149 cc, 4-stroke, DTS-i, air-cooled, single cylinder engine. This engine can churn out 15.06 PS at 9000 rpm of power and 12.5 Nm at 6500 rpm of torque. The total fuel tank capacity of the bike is 15 litres. It has got a kerb weight of 144 kg and is priced at Rs. 72,100 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Why Bajaj Pulsar 220F does not have a 6th gear and single suspension at the back?
02 January 2023 06:45
Bajaj Pulsar 220F belongs to an old generation of motorcycles which were fitted with a a 5-speed gearbox and the use of 6-speed gearbox as well as monoshock was limited to expensive bikes. If Bajaj would have updated the same with technologies like fuel injection and others, the motorcycle would have costed around 1,25,000 at that time. Now they cannot do the same as it will cannibalize the sales of higher variants like AS200 and RS200. If someone wants loads of technology, RS200 is the option while if brute power is the need, Pulsar 220F manages it well.
Does Bajaj Avenger have a trip-meter like Bajaj Pulsar?
02 January 2023 06:45
Yes, the Bajaj Avenger comes with a tripmeter for recording the distances being traveled under a certain ride. It is useful if we plan to record the distance from one place to another in order to calculate the expenses and keep a check on everything. The Avenger comes with a typical cruiser style console with a single pod taking the responsibility of a speedometer, odometer and the tripmeter. Bajaj offers the Avenger in 3 different variants named 150 Street, 220 Street and 220 Cruise. The addition of new shades to the 220 Cruise has began while other variants are also expected to get them in the coming months.

I want to buy TVS Draken or Bajaj Pulsar CS200, which one is the best?
02 January 2023 06:45
Bajaj Pulsar CS 200 would be the only choice as TVS Draken would never be made into production by the same name. TVS has introduced Apache RTR 200, which looks good and even comes with a CS 200 rival engine. You can consider the RTR 200 4V or wait for the CS 200 in the coming months. Pulsar CS 200 is expected to get the power form the same 199.5 cc engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling, producing 24.5 HP and 18.6 Nm of torque with its 6-speed gearbox. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V costs INR 88,990 while the CS 200 is expected to stay around INR 1 lakh or even more.

Which one is the best - Royal Enfield Classic 350 or KTM RC 200 or Bajaj Pulsar RS200?
02 January 2023 06:44
All of three of them are great choice. Your final selection should depend on what you're looking in a motorcycle. If you are looking for performance, handling and riding dynamics, go for the KTM RC. It is leagues ahead of the other two. If you want ABS, fuel economy, and practicality, the RS200 will be the ideal choice. Coming to Royal Enfield, it's a different machine altogether; it is less about speed, mileage and practicality and more about attitude and personality. Test drive all three of them, and choose the one you like the most.
I am using a Bajaj Pulsar 220F.... The Bike is awesome but front mask vibrates.. how to fix it?
02 January 2023 06:43
Pulsar 220F is an excellent motorcycle and its semi faired design sometimes irritates the rider with its rattling sound. It happens when the screws get loose and this happens most of the times when they are tightened after a regular service. You can ask the person who services your bike to tighten all the screws and end the problem. Sometimes, red-lining the bike creates a lot of vibration throughout the body and results in a temporary rattle of the body. This cannot be corrected as there would be no noise till 6,000 rpm, post which the bike produces extra ordinary vibrations.
Is Bajaj Pulsar NS150 better than Pulsar AS150?
02 January 2023 06:43
Bajaj Pulsar NS150 would be a better option than AS150 as it will use the same chassis, engine and components but would weigh less due to the lack of fairing, thus making it quicker in short sprints. It would be lighter by a good margin but will miss out on the projector headlamp. It would also cost a bit less than its cousin while the power values are expected to remain the same. Real life performance and mileage may vary in both the bikes.
