Definitely. That 1.75 TBi engine is a gem, and it’s already rare. And it’s one of the last of the “old school” Alfas.

Having previously owned hot hatches, I can honestly say the MiTo 1.4 is a fun car to drive. It’s not the fastest thing out there, but in Dynamic mode it feels nimble and eager. It’s direct steering that loves being thrown into corners. But it's definitely more than just a pretty face.

I believe the fun depends on what you expect. You may be disappointed if you're coming from a proper sports car. The MiTo is a blast compared to most economy hatchbacks. It handles well for what it is and the turbo gives it a nice punch.

I’ve had my MiTo for two years and I’m still enjoying it. Not razor sharp like some rivals, but with a character that even makes mundane drives fun. The DNA system actually makes a real difference in how the car drives.

I honestly don't think it's much more than style. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a bad car to drive, but I just don’t think it’s enough Alfa Romeo for me. Steering is a bit numb and suspension is too soft to drive spiritedly.
