This powerful entry-level hatchback is my all-time favourite because it is one of the best fuel efficient and budget friendly cars available in India. Maruti has done a commendable job with this car's styling. The power steering light and easy to handle and control. The AC cooling is effective and pick-up of the car even when the AC in on-mode is decent. The cabin ambiance is nice due to improved headroom and contemporary designs on the dashboard. The driver seat is comfortable with good back support. Maruti 800 delivers a mileage of 22.74 kmpl through which you can cover long distances easily. The suspension is reasonably good over the potholes and the drive is free of any internal vibrations except at very low RPM levels. Maruti has several service centers so parts are easily available at reasonable price.
