The 2025 Toyota Fortuner Neo Drive introduces a notable upgrade with the integration of a 48-volt mild-hybrid system alongside its trusted 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine, delivering 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque. This new hybrid setup, featuring a lithium-ion battery and a belt-driven starter generator, offers smoother acceleration, improved fuel efficiency, and quieter operation, while regenerative braking and a Smart Idle Start-Stop system help further reduce emissions and fuel use, especially in city traffic. The Neo Drive variants retain the 6-speed automatic gearbox and 4WD capability, ensuring the Fortuner’s strong off-road and touring performance. New additions include a 360-degree camera and wireless charging, while the SUV continues to offer seven airbags, hill assist, traction control, and multi-terrain select. Priced from ₹44.72 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Fortuner Neo Drive is available in seven colors, with bookings already open and deliveries underway.
