Toyota Etios (2019) Updates

Friday, 13 March 2020 12:54 PM Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced the discontinuation of the entire Etios series in India, effective from April 1, 2020, due to the implementation of BS6 emission norms. This decision affected the Etios, Etios Liva, and Etios Cross models. I think this move was necessary to comply with the new environmental regulations, but its sad to see these models go.

Wednesday, 17 July 2019 09:40 AM The Brazil-made Toyota Etios scored a 4-star rating for Adult and Child Occupant Protection in a crash test conducted by the Latin New Car Assessment Programme (Latin NCAP) in July 2019. The test highlighted good protection for the head, neck, and chest, but the vehicles structure was deemed unstable. I believe this rating shows Toyotas commitment to safety, even if theres room for improvement.
