Tesla has updated the timeline and specs for the Cybertrucks range extender, which is now scheduled to be available in mid-2025. This range extender, essentially an additional battery, will fit inside the trucks cargo bed and is expected to significantly boost the vehicles driving range. I think this addition will be a game-changer for those needing longer trips without frequent charging.

The used prices of the Tesla Cybertruck have started to fall as production ramps up and more units hit the market. With over 12,000 Cybertrucks sold, the initial hype has begun to die down, leading to more reasonable prices for used models. I believe this is a good sign for buyers, as it makes the vehicle more accessible.

Tesla has increased the prices of new Cybertruck models, despite reducing the cost of used ones. The dual-motor Cybertruck now starts at around $100,000, and the tri-motor Beast model is priced at $120,000. I think these price hikes might deter some potential buyers, but the performance and features still make it an attractive option for many.

The Tesla Cybertruck is still not available for purchase in the UK and Europe due to its design not meeting European crash regulations. However, Tesla has been touring the vehicle in these regions to give fans a glimpse. I believe its a shame that such an innovative vehicle cant be driven on European roads yet, but perhaps future models will be adapted to comply.

Tesla plans to introduce a cheaper, single-motor rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck in 2025, which is expected to start at around $61,000. This model will have an estimated range of 250 miles and a lower towing capacity compared to the all-wheel-drive models. I think this will be a great option for those looking for a more affordable entry into the electric pickup truck market.
