The Tata Movus, a multi-utility vehicle, has been phased out by Tata Motors due to low sales. The company decided to focus on its newer lineup, including models like the Zest and Bolt. The remaining inventory of the Movus was cleared by August 2015. I think this move was necessary for Tata to stay competitive in the market.

The Tata Movus was available in various seating capacities, including 7, 8, and 9 seater options, making it a versatile choice for families and groups. It came with a 2179 cc diesel engine, producing 118 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a manual transmission. I believe its seating flexibility was one of its strongest points.

The Tata Movus was priced between Rs. 7.88 Lakh and Rs. 8.17 Lakh, depending on the variant. It was available in two colors: Artic Silver and Artic White. The vehicle featured a turbocharged engine and had a fuel tank capacity of 65 liters. I think the pricing was competitive, but the lack of modern features might have affected its sales.

In terms of design, the Tata Movus had dimensions of 4421 mm in length, 1780 mm in width, and 1940 mm in height, with a ground clearance of 200 mm. It also featured power steering and adjustable steering, which were convenient for drivers. I believe the design was functional but not particularly stylish.

The Tata Movus had a mileage of 15.16 kmpl, as per ARAI certification, which was decent for its class. However, the vehicle lacked advanced safety features and modern amenities, which could have impacted its appeal to buyers. I think better safety features would have made it more attractive.
