Our take on this /// Verdict
The Tata Tiago is a compelling choice in the compact hatchback segment in India, offering a blend of style, comfort, and practicality. I find the interior design to be one of its strongest points, with doors that rival those of premium mass market hatchbacks. The ride quality is excellent, and the gears have a good range, making it a joy to drive both in the city and on highways. However, there are some minor drawbacks, such as the power loss when the AC is on and the underpowered Eco mode. Despite these, the Tiago stands out with its comfortable seats, good under-thigh support, and an impressive 8-speaker Harman sound system. The safety features, including ABS, dual airbags, and parking sensors, add to its appeal. Overall, the Tiago offers tremendous value for money, making it a solid choice for those seeking a feature-rich and safe compact hatchback.
Price
In India, the Tata Tiago is priced competitively, with ex-showroom prices starting from around 5.65 lakh for the base variant and going up to 7.90 lakh for the top-of-the-line XZ variant. On-road prices, including taxes and other costs, can range from approximately 6.5 lakh to 9.5 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing makes the Tiago an attractive option for first-time car buyers and small families, offering a lot of features and safety at an affordable price. The value-for-money proposition is one of the Tiagos strongest selling points, making it a viable choice in the highly competitive compact hatchback market.

Tara Tiny Hatchback Discussion
Hi, I would like to have this available in the Philippines asap and all over the world because it is a timely answer to the manipulations of the oil cartel. For asia it appears reasonable in price and practical. This will move all the others to wake up and take charge of their choices. Why keep doing the same thing of buying oil over and over again with the same result of getting higher and higher prices along with the pollution it brings. This is the definition of insanity.
Good car and very beatiful.
Reliability and distribution network will be a major challenge otherwise if on road price is as estimated this car is going to be a great success.
