The Skoda Rapid Onyx AT, although no longer in production, was a notable variant in the Rapid lineup. It featured a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 110PS and 175Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. This variant was priced around Rs. 11.69 lakh (ex-showroom) and offered exclusive features like Onyx badging, specific exterior decals, and a touch panel for the automatic climate control. However, four airbags were only available on the Style variant, which was just below the Monte Carlo edition. I believe safety should always be a top priority, so this was a bit of a letdown for the Onyx variant.
