Renault Lodgy Diesel STD 85PS Updates

Latest Updates
Wednesday, 01 April 2020 09:26 AM The Renault Lodgy, a popular multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in India, was officially discontinued by April 2020. This decision was part of Renaults strategy to streamline its product lineup and focus on more profitable models. The Lodgy had been a staple in the Indian market since its launch in January 2015, known for its spacious interior and reliable diesel engine. I believe this move will allow Renault to concentrate on other successful models and potentially introduce new vehicles that better meet current market demands.
Friday, 15 March 2019 02:44 PM Renault Lodgys diesel engine, particularly the 85PS variant, was praised for its fuel efficiency and performance. The 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder K9K diesel engine delivered a peak power of 84 bhp and a torque of 200 Nm, making it suitable for both city driving and long road trips. With an ARAI-reported mileage of 21.04 kmpl, it was a favorite among those looking for a balance between power and economy. I think the engines reliability and efficiency were key factors in the Lodgys appeal.
Tuesday, 20 February 2018 11:48 PM The Renault Lodgy was available in a range of variants, each catering to different needs and budgets. The 85PS STD 8 STR was the base model, priced around Rs. 8.84 lakh, while the top-of-the-line 85PS RXL Stepway 8 STR came in at around Rs. 10.79 lakh. This variety allowed customers to choose the features and seating capacity that best suited their requirements. I believe the diverse range of variants helped the Lodgy maintain a strong presence in the Indian MPV market.
Tuesday, 10 January 2017 09:46 PM In terms of safety features, the Renault Lodgy included essential amenities such as a driver airbag, anti-lock braking system (ABS), and electronic brake distribution (EBD). However, higher variants offered additional features like rear AC vents, parking sensors, and a rear camera. While it wasnt the most advanced in safety tech, the Lodgy provided a solid foundation for safety-conscious buyers. I think these features were a step in the right direction, even if they werent as comprehensive as some competitors.
Tuesday, 15 December 2015 03:53 PM The Renault Lodgy was known for its spacious and comfortable interior, making it a favorite among families and those who needed a versatile vehicle. It offered seating for 7 or 8 people, depending on the variant, and featured amenities like adjustable lumbar support for the driver’s seat and rear seat armrests. The car also had a boot space of 207 litres, which was expandable by folding the third row of seats. I believe the Lodgys interior space and comfort were its strongest selling points.
