Renault KWID RXL Automatic Updates

The Renault Kwid RXL (O) Automatic has been praised for its affordability, priced at Rs. 5.44 lakh, making it the cheapest automatic car in India. This variant now comes with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, power windows on all four doors, and a rear seatbelt reminder. I think this makes it a compelling option for those on a tight budget looking for convenience and modern features.

Renault has introduced three new dual-tone color schemes for the Kwid, including Moonlight Silver with Black, Zanskar Blue with Black, and Fiery Red with Black. These new colors are available on the Climber variant but add a fresh look to the entire lineup, including the RXL (O) Automatic. The new colors definitely give the Kwid a more vibrant and appealing appearance.

The 2024 Renault Kwid RXL (O) Automatic comes with an electronic stability program, traction control system, and tyre pressure monitoring system, which are standard across all variants. These features contribute to a safer and more stable driving experience. I think these additions are a step in the right direction for enhancing driver confidence.

Renault has emphasized the value-for-money aspect of the Kwid RXL (O) Automatic, highlighting it as the most affordable car with a touchscreen navigation system and automatic transmission in India. This positioning is likely to attract budget-conscious buyers who still want modern amenities. I believe this strategy could work well in the Indian market.

Renault India has reduced the prices of the 2024 Kwid across various variants, with the RXL (O) MT and RXT MT seeing price cuts of Rs. 21,000 and Rs. 17,000 respectively. This pricing strategy aims to make the Kwid more competitive in the market. I believe this move will help Renault regain some market share in the compact hatchback segment.

With the introduction of the RXL (O) Automatic, Renault aims to cater to the growing demand for automatic transmissions in the compact hatchback segment. This move is seen as a response to market trends where buyers are increasingly looking for convenience and ease of driving. I think this is a smart move by Renault to stay competitive.

Renault has consolidated its variant lineup for the Kwid, discontinuing the previous RXL trim and introducing the RXL (O) variant with more features. The RXL (O) Automatic now includes keyless entry, central locking, and Bluetooth connectivity, making it a more feature-rich option. This move seems to be a strategic step to attract more buyers with better value for money.

The RXL (O) Automatic variant of the Renault Kwid is notable for its safety features, including front driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, and a rear seatbelt reminder. These additions enhance the overall safety profile of the vehicle, which is crucial for Indian roads. I think these safety features are a significant selling point for the Kwid.

The 2024 Renault Kwid RXL (O) Automatic features a 999 cc engine producing 67.06 bhp and 91 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed AMT transmission. This combination offers a certified mileage of 21.46 kmpl, making it a fuel-efficient option in its segment. I believe the AMT gearbox is a significant upgrade, enhancing the driving experience in urban conditions.

The RXL (O) Automatic variant of the Renault Kwid is available in 10 different colors, including several dual-tone options. This variety in color choices allows buyers to personalize their vehicle according to their preferences. I think the dual-tone options particularly add a stylish touch to the car.
