Proton Iriz Petrol Updates

Latest Updates
Tuesday, 12 November 2024 01:13 AM Proton has not announced any plans to launch the Iriz in the Indian market, despite its presence in other countries. This omission is notable given the competitive nature of Indias automotive sector. I believe Proton is missing out on a significant market by not introducing the Iriz here.
Thursday, 30 December 2021 06:04 PM The Proton Iriz has been compared frequently with the Perodua Myvi and Perodua Axia in other markets, highlighting its competitive pricing and features. If Proton were to bring the Iriz to India, it would need to compete with similar models like the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai Grand i10. I think the Iriz could carve out a niche for itself with the right pricing and marketing.
Thursday, 30 December 2021 01:16 PM Protons decision to discontinue the manual transmission option for the Iriz, opting for a CVT gearbox only, reflects a global trend away from manual transmissions. This move might not affect Indian buyers directly since the Iriz is not available here, but its an interesting trend to watch. I believe this shift could influence future car purchases in India as well.
Thursday, 26 August 2021 01:42 PM Proton has been focusing on enhancing the safety and technology features of its vehicles, including the Iriz, which is equipped with features like curtain airbags, front parking sensors, and a touch screen. While these updates are promising, they remain irrelevant to Indian buyers until the Iriz is launched here. I believe incorporating such features would make the Iriz a strong contender if it were to enter the Indian market.
Friday, 06 August 2021 12:18 PM The 2022 Proton Iriz facelift, although not available in India, features a new crossover-styled Active variant, updated interior, and improved CVT transmission. This facelift is a significant update, but its a shame Indian buyers wont get to experience it. I think the crossover styling could have been a hit in Indias SUV-crazy market.
