Mercedes C63 S AMG Updates

The 2025 Mercedes-AMG C63 is set to receive several updates, including the latest MBUX3 infotainment software, 5G compatibility, and a center-mounted airbag. These changes aim to enhance both technology and safety features in the vehicle. I believe these updates will make the C63 even more appealing to tech-savvy buyers.

The 2024 Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance has been tested and shown to be 50% more fuel-efficient than the BMW M3 CS in European fuel-economy metrics. However, it still misses the mark on emotional appeal due to the absence of the V8 engine. I believe the fuel efficiency is a significant advantage, but it may not be enough to win over all performance car enthusiasts.

Mercedes-AMG has defended its decision to switch from a V8 engine to a plug-in hybrid four-cylinder in the C63, citing a commitment to progressive technology and hybridization. AMG CEO Michael Schiebe emphasized that the company is convinced of the hybrid concept and will continue with the four-cylinder engine. I think this move shows Mercedes dedication to innovation, even if it disappoints some V8 enthusiasts.

In Germany, the Mercedes-AMG C63 Sedan is currently available with significant discounts, reducing its price to levels comparable to the BMW M3 Competition xDrive. This pricing strategy is part of Mercedes new agency retail model, which aims to provide more transparent pricing. I think this move could attract more buyers who are looking for a high-performance sedan at a competitive price.

The 2024 Mercedes-AMG C63 S E Performance has been praised for its monumental hybrid-assisted performance, producing 671 horsepower and 752 lb-ft of torque. Despite its complex powertrain, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. I believe the integration of this complex system is impressive, but it may lack the emotional appeal of the previous V8 engine.
